Any info on how Morris is doing/when that game starts?

Oscar Gonzalez continues his assault on AA pitching, hitting his 12th 2B and 12th HR. Likely done for the night.

Will have to be protected or he will walk, especially with the likelihood a NL DH is right around the corner.

No.

We don't have a problem with the Rule Five.

Everybody has told me so.

It's wrinkles like Oscar that are going to make things interesting. Likely finishes in AAA, and though rough around the edges, being a 4th OF/DH/PH/Bench guy for a year might happen.

Rule 5 isn't so much of an issue with Oscar, even if he goes undrafted he can still walk away if he chooses.

The Akron team has been quite the unit so far.

AA Akron wins 12-5

On the night CLE affiliates go 3-1 with a run diff of +7

On the week CLE affiliates have gone 4-7 with a run diff of -19

The biggest problem with Rule V is that fans who’ve overvalued a number of organizational prospects will inevitably disappointed if any of those left off the 40 one day ascend to the major leagues.

That’s it, that’s the problem.

There are so many ways to make room on the 40-man for guys that absolutely do not want to lose. Maybe we lose a single guy, but that's no different than any other year.

How about if we don't resign Eddie Rosario and replace him on the 40-man with Oscar Gonzalez? Or maybe Mercado gets DFA'd? Or Jordan Luplow?

This seems like a bad faith and fallacious argument unsupported by any evidence.

I, for one, am shocked that you hold me to a higher posting standard than yourself.
