Moves the Indians should make for the 2nd half

Could be backfill if there is a deal in the works for Plesac. We will need starter bodies to work with.

Dolans save themselves 6 mil regardless but picked up a pretty good lefty in the process.

the savings stated are inaccurate
Doesn't he have a generous club option of 6 Mil? With Freeman, Arias, Miller all in the mix, seems like an easy decline. Love Cesar, just not apart of the timeline.

club option - no buyout

thought "crafty lefty" was more for guys who are 40 years old and dont have major league pitches left in their arm

age is only a number.. this guy's "stuff" is fringy ML quality.. perhaps with coaching him up he can be a better version of himself.. When he was coming out of college for the draft.. he was well thought of..

"age is only a number" qualifies you for Medicare, doesn't it?

See Aaron Laffey. Only difference here is Konnor misses bats..

Konnor also reminds me of Thomas Pannone

It is a bit of a salary dump. But... We are hurting for upper level lefties and he has the stuff to be a LOOGY if that even exists anymore.

I would have preferred a bat, but a crafty control minded lefty might be able to work out of the pen or if we are really lucky, eat some innings as a BOR.
We are? Cantillo, LT Allen, and now Pilkington. All 3 fit a consistent description.

Cantillo has the potential to be a MOR or even MORe. Excellent off speed and better FB stuff than Konnor.. Also hasn't thrown a single competitive pitch this year.

Logan T - is a power pitcher type. He has also been lit up this year in MLB/AAA - though last nights outing was his best in awhile. He could end up being a useful ML piece, he is still rather young..

Pilkington - misses bats with breaking stuff. IMO, that could work well in short burst at the MLB level. 2nd, 3rd time through the order though, maybe not so much.

Criz, Logan T Allen was drafted by Cleveland and recently promoted due to his outstanding performance in A+ ball. He is not what most consider a power pitcher.

From what I read, Konnor's FB sits low 90's and hits 94 fairly frequently. Pretty much in line with Cantillo if I'm not mistaken.

Kars for kids always irritated me…or maybe it was just the jingle?!?

Just reading this post got the jingle stuck in my head, so thanks for that!
