Is the argument to make serious changes? Because serious changes in my mind, is trading either Mitchell, Mobley, or Garland.

If we do that, we are done. We can forget about any notion of competing, because that's over.

I get Juan Thornhills point about having a 'positive vibe' as he enters the stadium, but he has to understand that: a. This is learned behavior for fans after a couple decades of disappointment and b. Alcohol is a natural downer, and since most Browns fans have already been drinking for 5-6 hours by game time, all they can really be is depressed about the team.

How do we know that, though? Evan Mobley and DG haven't hit puberty, yet, let alone shown who they'll be as a finished product. Don has carried teams to playoff wins by himself. JA and JBB shit the bed, but is this one series who they are, or just where they start?

Theres a popular theory that your best player should be able to win you 2 games. Your second best player wins you 1 game. And a wildcard player wins you 1. With this experience and natural progression, I think these guys could do that. Will they? Remains to be seen, but its not impossible.

Such a shame too. There have been some great coaches available. I wanted Snyder. He's gone.

I want Monty Williams now, but he will be gone soon too.

I agree. If they keep JBB, they have to trade Mitchell, because they are committing to a wasted year that will drive Mitchell away. If they feel they can’t make the tough decisions to make the team better, then at least see what you can get for Mitchell. Besides: if you don’t fix the problem at the 3, you are just spinning your wheels, anyway.

I heard a story that Mitchell and Synder didn’t get along well in Utah because Synder likes his guards to play under control. That’s why he and Trea bumped heads this year!
