Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Embiid reportedly going to play for the US in the Olympics. Will be interesting to see who’s actually playing. Center was the major weakness for the US. Sounds like the starting lineup could be something like Steph, Booker, Durant/Tatum, LeBron, Embiid if everyone is healthy?

Will be interesting to see if Garland, Mitchell, or Mobley wind up in camp. Mobley might actually have the best chance to make the team depending on who’s healthy.

The initial matchup with Wemby vs Chet was as advertised. The league is getting flooded with crazy talented PF/Cs these last several drafts. Those two guys do NOT move like PFs.

I was not impressed by Chet coming out of college. After watching that game last night, consider my mind changed.

The young crop of bigs is really impressive to me: Mobley, Sengun, Wemby, Banchero, Chet, Jabari, Sochan, Duren, Williams, Kessler, and the rest of the current class that I can't yet judge. That is dense with talent. And like 7-8 guys I could see being All-Stars eventually, 5-6 guys I could see making All-NBA teams in their career, and 3-4 I could see winning DPOY.

Arrest warrant issued for Miles Bridges for violation of a protective order.

If this guy stays healthy, you’re talking about a true Generational Talent. Not in the overused sense, but in the Era Defining and Era Dominating sense.

As long as he doesn’t have long term injury issues, by year 2 or 3 at the latest the Spurs will we WCF favorites every year for a decade+

As a Cavs fan, all we can do is be grateful he’s in the Western Confernce.

Poole with 29 points in 16 minutes. That guy is going to end up scoring 35ppg on that team taking 30 shots a game.

Not sure he will contribute to winning, but that should at least be interesting to watch for Washington fans.

And frustrate all the other team players. Avdija is gonna ask for a trade lol

Spurs put up 72 on the Warriors at the Chase Center in the first half. And missed plenty of shots as well

Wemby with 4 blocks in the half and about 15 points

Have plenty of room to add a 30M per year FA is they want next offseason.

A ton of future picks

If they’re not a playoff team this year, they’ll be a top4 team in the West by next season.

Pop going to backtrack on his retirement plans and coach another 5 years now

League is kinda fucked. He is just messing around too.

Yeah, IF he stays healthy.

The number of players in league history who were 7'4" and injury free for their career is so short as to almost be non-existent.

Looking at leagues history and predicting this unicorn's chance of getting injured is unwise imo. IF you haven't noticed Wembenyama is unlike anything we have ever seen. He has ridiculous flexibility, good mechanics, posture and he is really fluid. There was no player like him ever and predicting injury based on height in this case is not how I would look at it.

It's all about the Spurs staff and Wembenyama to build and manage his body because the base is there regardless of the history. managing the loads, building strength and slowly building muscle should be the priority, but he just doesn't have any red flags as far as his physique is concerned other than the number itself. Every guy that was close to his height had red flags as far as his body is concerned.

Wembenyama probably has some connective tissue disease that allows him to remain flexible while being this tall. Marfans come to mind.

Wembenyama to me is so insane for the fact that his impact happens in every possession on multiple occasions.. on defense he is like a goalkeeper just protecting everything that comes in the lane. It's ridiculous. The radius in which he operates can cut off plays before they even happen. Don't see how he can be beat in switches or at the rim and eventually in the post.. even now he will be able to block shots even if he is backed down under the rim. He is like the ultimate defender to throw at Curry too.. too bad he is too old.

On offense, I don't even know what he can become.. the tools and the skills he has at his disposal to build a total arsenal of destruction is unreal. His frame will also be able to pack on muscle.
