Penn State AD Tim Curley faces charges (Paterno and PSU president are now out)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They weren't covering for Jerry Sandusky because he was "cool peoples". There's more to the story. I wouldn't be surprised if there were financial kickbacks front Jerry's foundation or vice versa. I want to know why that DA was missing.

Even though the DA went missing years after 98 what makes it extra suspicious is the laptop in the river. Somebody wanted the information that was in his possession gone. Maybe he himself benefited from not pursuing a case against the school in the form of a bribe and got caught up somewhere along the line.

Gaaaahhh there's so many more questions I have regarding this situation. These dumb ass students and administrators are trying to "start the healing" and they don't realize this hasn't even begun.

No chance in hell that DA thing has anything to do with this. There's plenty of conspiracies involved with this case, but there's absolutely no reason to believe that DA's disappearance was related to this.

You know how many people want DA's to disappear?

That DA who didn't pursue a case after Sandusky admitted on the phone while being tapped that he was sorry for messing around with the moms little boy?

I mean shit, we already have a Judge who contributed to Sanduskys foundation then lets him off bail free. These connections range far and wide so at this point anything is possible.

Doug, "doing his best" would have been to pick up the phone at some point...any point...and dial 9-1-1. It should have been a minute after it happened. Even a week, a month, a year after it happened...but he never did that. So in my mind, I know for a fact he didn't try his best. We don't have all the facts, but it's really appears to me that he was part of the cover up. I'd go as far as saying that his silence was bought.

Oh, I agree. But when I said threatened I mean threatened with the life of himself or of his family. There is a DA missing from the past anyway. At this point it wouldn't surprise me where this leads.

Is anyone else going to be very creeped out watching this evil person tonight? Not sure I want to watch it now.

Yeah...anything is possible. But there's really just nothing tying him any closer to the Sandusky case than to any of the many other cases involving people he probably pissed off.

I mean hell...if anything, the guy was part of the cover-up.

That's what I'm getting at. Had he been part of the cover up and they stopped paying him so he threatened to expose school officials? I mean I hate to run such specific conspiracy theories through the washer without any concrete evidence pointing in that direction but I have a strong feeling that this is connected in some form or fashion.

In the grand scheme of things, there is no reason why the school covered this up like they did just to protect their image or Sanduskys image. Had they informed law enforcement from the go there would have been an aftershock but nothing critical and it could have been played off as an isolated incident and done minimal damage. They kept this guy around for some reason.

It's like when you were a kid and you had that one dumbass friend who wanted to tag a long in stealing a cookie from the lunch line and ends up getting caught. You stay cool with him because if you don't, your at risk for exposing yourself later down the line.

What's the over under of how many people end up dead during the entire ordeal of the investigation and the trial? One dead so far. The DA. :D

I'm thinking a few turn up dead from suicide and other means.

You are probably right, but this thing does read like a Patterson novel...

-In 1998 an 11 year old boy tells his mom that Sandusky had sex with him in a shower.
-Mom calls police, boy tells police, Gricar gets the case.
-Gricar sets up a sting at the kids house by having two officers listening in another room while the mom confronts Sandusky.
-Sandusky admits to showering naked with the boy, begs for forgiveness, says "I wish was dead".
-Police later interview him and he admits again to showering with the boy naked.
-Officers tell Gricar of the confession.
-Ray Gricar, without explanation, chooses not to prosecute.
-In 2004, Gricar also chooses not to prosecute Scott Paxson, star PSU defensive tackle, for rape.
-Gricar goes missing in 2005 a couple months before retiring after 20 years as D.A.
-All they find is his white and red Mini Cooper(???) and cell phone.
-Months later his laptop gets found in a river without the hard drive...couple months after that the hard drive gets found in the river.
-Investigators learn that weeks before his disappearance he had searched "how to destroy a hard drive" and "how to fry a hard drive" on his home computer.
-Fast forward to 2011 and Gricar gets declared legally dead a couple months before the Sandusky grand jury report is released.
-Now we hear reports that Sandusky allegedly was pimping out these kids to high rollers.
-Judge lets him out on bail without paying a dime??

So many questions...
Is Gricar still alive?
What was on that computer?
Was he aware of the sex trafficking ring?
Since he drove a Mini Cooper, was he a client of the Second Mile sex ring?

So many questions...

howd they find out he searched how to fry a harddrive if the harddrive was gone?

The searches were performed on his home computer, not his laptop.

That is rather interesting. Gets ya thinking that's for sure.

I sure hope what Sanduskys lawyer said in that interview isn't true. I hope those kids don't deny what happened to them.

Edit: ... and Sandusky couldn't sound more guilty. Bob Costas grilled him pretty good.

I'm sure Sandusky and his lawyer thought getting him on National TV for an interview was going to be good for him. No it wasn't. He sounded awful and very guilty. Costas was damn good. One question was "are you sexually attracted to young boys?" Instead of answering "NO" immediately, he went into how he showers with boys and touches boys on the leg, etc. He didn't say no to the question.

Why would a top executive of Second Mile all the sudden up and resign?

Man, did he ever sound guilty on that interview. His answer to, "are you sexually attracted to young boys?" Was beyond absurd.

Just listened to the interview. He sounds guilty as hell. His answers to some of those questions were just unbelievable. Lock him up and throw away the key.
