Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I read "I put it off" and my brain thought you meant you shut it off and I was about to be massively disappointed in you .

The casting in the movie was fantastic. Daniel Radcliffe killed it. He's been pleasantly awesome as he's grown up. I didn't see that coming from the Harry Potter kid.
My buddy works in Hollywood in production. He was the Unit Production Manager on Weird. He said that Radcliffe was his new favorite actor to work with. Just a really good person and easy to work with.

That show on FX with him and Steve Buscemi is just a fun, silly, easy romp as well.

Miracle Workers

Is this movie some kind of money laundering scheme? I literally have not heard a single person in real life mention it.

Took my family to see it yesterday. My kids got bored with Strange World after about 40 minutes, but they were mesmerized by Avatar 2. The plot telegraphs a few key moments with overly-obvious foreshadowing. I think paying for 3D in the theater is worth every penny because so much of the movie is just staring in wonder at the graphics. I won't watch it at home, enjoyed the 3D experience immensely.

Yeah, I mean I’ve read a lot of good things about it, and Cameron usually delivers. It’s just strange that a movie that I have heard zero people mention in the real world is making so much money.

Every other big movie or TV release I can remember from the past few years has had some buzz in my personal circles, but if it wasn’t for the internet and commercials during sports games, I wouldn’t even know Avatar 2 existed.

I’ve seen this a lot on Twitter too, people don’t know many (if any) people that have seen this movie.

Top Gun Maverick also hit over a billion and you couldnt escape someone asking you if you’ve seen it yet or talk about when they were going to see it.

Just seems off.

Yeah, Maverick is a great example. Everyone was talking about that. It came up constantly out in the wild.

As a side note, watched that with my parents while they were visiting for Christmas and enjoyed it. Probably would have liked it more had it not been so hyped up, but it delivered more or less on what it was promising. It was a well made if vapid action movie.

I think it's Cena and it's not particularly close. Peacemaker was one of my favorite surprises of 2022.

When Bautista talks I can't help but hear Drax.

I think we need to see more from Cena first. Bautista has been pretty great in everything he's been in, and he's actually putting in effort to be a legitimate actor and taking on a wide variety of roles. It remains to be seen if Cena goes the same route or if he falls into the same category as Rock where he just takes on the same role again and again in the name of making money rather than challenging himself or trying to be in films that are more than brain dead popcorn flicks.

Cena was awesome in Peacemaker / TSS though.

About 70% of Avatar's box office is overseas.
