didn't D-STOUD drop a 50 + point game last year ?

Yeah he did. Damon still has some game and is a good option if we fail on Saruanas. He would be a great spark in the 6th man role.

By any chance, do you have any Jason Williams clips in handy? :gap:

only kazaa. and even if you could put those clips on here i wouldnt know how to do it. not that literate to do that. sorry... j-will personal favorite of mine in all nba video games. you know white guy from the sticks that loves to play ball and smoke weed. kinda reminded me of my self..

anyway d. stoudamire has said that cleveland was first option of where he wanted to play. no link for that just saw it on best damn sports show while back...

The actual Cavs board is starting to piss me off because of people's ignorance on everything..so I'll bring myself here again :king:

I think Antonio Daniels is our man..Everyone knows Sarunas can shoot the lights out, but he is a dreadful defender..and you guys know that. Last year, remember when everyone ripped Jmac because his defence is so laxidasical? Why would we want to bring someone in here that is said by many NBA coaches and players that he is a great player in the Euro league, but would not suceed here in our league. (Larry Brown being one of the coaches) I just don't see how he would fit on our team :( He'd be great for spurts off the bench I guess though. But it isn't like Antonio Daniels can't shoot. His career FG% is 44% while someone said Sarunas shot 49% last year. Not a big difference..Let me know what you guys think :)

If we did not have Eric Snow then I would take Antonio over Sarunas. However since we have a defending point guard already, that we can't trade it makes more sense to aquire a more scoring oriented point to come off the bench.

I don't really want Eric Snow to touch the court.

I do, Hes proven he can help a team win, I remember when he started those 2 games last year - we won both of them - , Eric was close to a tripple double too! .

argh, all I can think of is when he comes off the bench for about 3 minutes and has 5 TO's and is about 0/4 from the field. With the help of a little slight exaggeration.

Eric Snow is a hell of a defender. With Hughes and LBJ scoring, his points are less important. Snow is still worthy as a 20-25 minute guy.

Sarunas can shoot the lights out! It could help. Could Steve Kerr play defense? Can Tony Parker play defense? Every position doesn't need to be All-World on defense....I think Sarunas would do more good than bad basically is what I'm trying to say...

I want Sarunas. And there is a huge difference between 44% shooting and 49% shooting. We have defenders - snow, newble, hughes, we need someone we can count on to hit the open jumpers

And I respect what you are saying, and some of it is true.

To Eric Snow..his points aren't needed..you are 100% correct. Which is why he shouldn't shoot the ball, because when he does he either airballs or bricks pretty badly. :)

I'm still going to stick with Antonio Daniels..looking up their stats, AD shot 43% from the field, Sarunas shot 49%. That's not THAT big of a difference to where you go from no D, to good D. See what I mean?

LJ4MVP, you realize Snow and Newble don't get significant minutes to where their D contributes to the whole picture. We're talking about our starting squad, which neither of them are on.

well Snow is our only PG right now so...

I agree though, I like A.D. a lot! I think him or Saruanas helps us, just in different ways.

I would not commit to Antonio Daniels for 5 years. With Hughes being our two guard we are looking at needing a pure shooter as a point to match with Snow. Daniels is a decent shooter, but will never be mixed up with Saruanus in that field.

We need someone who can shoot the ball regarldless of their defensive skills. Did we look at Redd because of his defense? Of course not, we wanted him for his shooting touch. Since we have Larry now, it almost makes perfect sense to go after an offensive PG.

I am also for Damon Stoudamire. I have always been a fan of his, and I was estatic when I seen that Cleveland was one of his options. The price would be affordable, and he has far more NBA knowledge than any of the other offensive PG's that are avaliable.

I like Marko Jaric as well, but I am not so high on getting anyone from the Clippers. He will carry that lazy losing attitude and inconsistancy from the Clippers ball club and I don't want to have to deal with watching that.

1. Sarus
2. Stoudamire
3. Damon Jones

There is my list.
