Spring Training 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Not on our team anymore but seems over using Miller while he was here may have caught up to him
That and relievers are just so volatile in general -- more so than any other position. Relievers can rise and fall at the snap of your fingers. I certainly think Millers innings have caught up to him, but sometimes the wheels just fall off for relievers too.

Infuriating to me.

Yelich is considerably better than Lindor, gives theBrewers a huge deal.

Really not similar situations, Lindor has 1 more season under team control and free agent at 27, Yelich 3 more years and free agent the wrong side of 30 at 31.....he isnt giving a discount, he is taking his big contract and running in case he has a decline at 30.

So Reyes has a !.695 OPS so far this spring, sustainable?

Anything under 4.000 is going to be disappointing

Rough, here I am happy with his 1.7, but 4.0, I almost think this is sarcasm, then I realized neither of us said lol or smiley face emoji after.

Semi side note, always loved early season or spring training stats for the stupidity they are sometimes like this.

If he took some AP classes he could even get that average higher. AP course for an extra .5, plus an A+ weighted at 4.3, I want to see him closing in on that 4.800.

Franimal for Valedictorian.

Not every school does that, my kids school doesn't give extra for AP classes although my daughter will have 14 AP classes by the time she graduates.

Reyes spent time with Carlos this winter trying to pick up some tips on strike zone recognition.

If he learns just a little...a little better at recognizing pitches that arent going to stay in the zone...a little better at picking out the ones in the zone that he can hammer vs the ones he cant....

37 homers can turn into a lot more.

This is accurate. My high school did not give extra GPA points for AP, but both districts I have worked in as an adult do.

I don't even care about him hitting more HR. If spending that time with Carlos helps him increase his walk rate even a little, it would be a huge development.

Guys with sub-10% walk rates and near 30% strikeout rates don't have a great track record of long-term success.

Humble brag in the wrong thread, but I will get back on topic after. My daughter goes to BASIS, which had 6 of the top 10 high schools through US News and World Report rankings, but BASIS really only cares about test scores, school is kind of controversial although it has over 20 Charter High Schools, further the daughter has never got anything but an A and her specific school is 6th nationally.

OK back to Framinal and his extremely large bat
