It means nothing because what do we know - but the players are going to be tested every other freaking day. I assume same for all connected to them. So just based on that I think it flies.
. Sad to say I agree with his prediction.Buster Olney says he thinks there is a 5% chance the season starts at 0% chance it finishes
Did anyone tell him the sky is not falling ????Buster Olney says he thinks there is a 5% chance the season starts at 0% chance it finishes
Any idea why he is so negative on a season?Did anyone tell him the sky is not falling ????
I wish he was putting money on it, I'd take him up on that for sure. 100% the season starts and 85% it finishes all the way through the playoffs.
Because he’s a piece of shit!Any idea why he is so negative on a season?
Yep, that’s the only reason somebody might be pessimistic about sporting events continuing during a pandemicBecause he’s a piece of shit!
So it appears that it was Olney who made the claim about the Indians fire sale... that was repeated by Hoynes (not like he'd ever have anything first).. This is a classic ego protecting type of story.. These alleged journalist make a claim of the worst possible scenario.. doom and gloom.. the sky IS falling.. When it does, then the fans get to hear about how correct they were.. if it doesn't, then we get to hear how great the season is..Did anyone tell him the sky is not falling ????

The players will receive service time equal to what they received in 2019 if there's no season.Anyone know if they start and don't finish the season if this will count as an accrued season?
Buster Olney says he thinks there is a 5% chance the season starts at 0% chance it finishes
Is that 85% finishing an adjustment for you Jup?Did anyone tell him the sky is not falling ????

Is the impression that the PTBNL is a non-60 man roster type/cannot be traded at this time (likely), or more of a contingency based on Mateo playing time/production?First trade since the transaction ban was lifted.. The A's send former NYY prospect future superstar Jorge Mateo to the Padres for PTBNL..
Not exactly what you'd call a "great return" (still to be determined) for another one of the Yankees over hyped failures..
Thoughts?
