History, according to the FO insider, is to be maintained as throw backs and other nostalgic apparel and trinkets given away going forward.. That should satisfy those who still embrace our Tribe while opening the door for something new or old new.. If it’s nostalgia.. and offending is not going to cut it.. how about a pivot to a historical name.. but not one previously associated with the Cleveland Indians.. How about the Cleveland 9.. 9’s on the caps.. C’s where ever we’d like.. and maybe.. just maybe.. Mighty Casey and the Mudville 9.. or carlos..or franmil or frankie.. or… won’t strike out!!…

When they announced that they were going to look into the possibility of change, I assumed the Pluto info to already be true... Short of the pandemic becoming significantly worse, I'd be shocked if there were not something brand new for '21. This re-brand has been in the works...inevitable.
