I think I'm going with s series. Games are starting to stop being developed for the one and we want gta 6 so I guess out on that. But eBay has the s for like 240 and I don't see a huge improvement for the x for what we need

Series S is the biggest pile of shit on the market. It's the bottleneck for devs in the Xbox world because everything has to play on it. And it's really not much stronger than the Xbox One X.

I mean you can play on the S (for now) but I wouldn't recommend it.

I saw another deal last night (think it was Walmart?) for the XSX for $350.

I can’t believe that Valhalla (new God of War DLC) is free.

Absolutely phenomenal bit of DLC, and way, way more than just the rogue-like I thought it was going to be.

I would have paid for this regardless because the base game is so good, but after playing through it for a bit… wow. Refreshing to see a studio that isn’t entirely money grubbing.

GOW Valhalla 10/10.

I can't believe it's free. Further cements that Kratos is the GOAT protagonist of any video game franchise. And this is a hill I will die on. The journey we've gone on since 2005 with him is truly spectacular. Nearly two decades at this point.

I don't know where Santa Monica goes from here.

I'm still playing Baldur's Gate 3 and loving it. 200+ hours at this point. So much variety in the choices you can make and the domino effect that can have on other things that there is a crazy level of replayability.

Whenever I'm done with this, I'll be checking out For The King II.

I’m trying to finish up RE4, then going to jump to Cyberpunk and its expansion.

Kind of itching for a Souls game too, but I’m not going back to Elden Ring until the expansion. Might finally jump into Nioh 2.

Is it going to be endgame, like Old Hunters? Which could be accessed at the beginning but was absurdly difficult if you did so. Or are is it going to be tuned to play partway through the base game? That’s more what I mean.

Ah, yeah. I am wondering this myself. I played through NG+ like 3 or 4 times IIRC. Will be interesting to see if I have to start another NG+ or if it can be entered at any point or if it's even a standalone option on the main menu.

EDIT: Per some interviews, it sounds like the entrance will be touching Miquella's arm, which means players will need to defeat Mohg to access the DLC. That would be interesting if true. It is an optional boss fight in the main game. It technically can be accessed pretty early but you need to be pretty high level to be able to beat him. I just read you may also need to defeat Radahn, though I'm not entirely sure why.
