Someone from Pittsburgh just told me they heard on Twitter that JJ Watt was buying a house in Strongsville.
Full agreement with you there, bud.Watt gave up his $17 million dollar salary. If he was interested in making money, he probably would have manufactured some sort of trade.
Watt seems like the type to take a very team friendly deal to go to the Cleveland Browns.
We need to get this trending on Twitter. I've done my part.Someone from Pittsburgh just told me they heard on Twitter that JJ Watt was buying a house in Strongsville.
I think it's more accurate to say he wanted to control where he went, and thus ask for his release.Watt gave up his $17 million dollar salary. If he was interested in making money, he probably would have manufactured some sort of trade.
Watt seems like the type to take a very team friendly deal to go to the exact team he wants.
Eddddie!
The Safari hath begun.
I think he wants to control where he goes AND get paid. He will be 32 in a month. I think this is his last chance at a big contract; I can’t see him get a big multiyear deal at 35-36.Watt gave up his $17 million dollar salary. The Amari Safari just rolled off the tongue... this is the best replacement I could muster.
I’m a few drinks deep and too lazy to use Google. Is Watt eligible to sign anywhere right away or will his release and subsequent signing need to occur in conjunction with the new league year?
