WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The "Cody Consolation Prize".

I agree the announcement was stupid but I do like the look of the new belt. Definite Big Goldie vibes.
With a WWE sticker slapped in the middle.

Man… disappointing how badly they’ve bungled everything with Roman after Sami saved the whole storyline last year. They had a chance to do something cool, but they have failed to strike when the iron was hot.

This certainly makes Triple H’s “wait and see where the story goes before you criticize our booking” comments at the post Mania press conference particularly silly now.

I think we can also put to bed the idea that Triple H is this amazing creative booker.

Booking one hour of a taped NXT a week is a whole lot different than booking 5 hours of live Raw and Smackdown a week.

The WWE shows top to bottom are still pretty awful on a weekly basis and the one wildly hot main event angle that they lucked into, they somehow managed to botch the landing twice in six weeks.

Yea, it would look a lot better all gold too.

Cody should absolutely not win this belt.

You know it's bad when Bad Bunny is ending the show.

Post Mania, these shows have took a big step back.

I do not think AEW and WWE's product is for me anymore. I just feel exhaustion even thinking about watching shows ran by Tony Khan and HHH/Vince.

I had stopped watching last year or so and paid attention to the Zayn storyline some this year. I think I am going to check out completely from reading results and talking about wrestling.

If you’re not enjoying it, then that’s absolutely what you should do.

Wrestlemania is the only WWE show I’ve watched since EC.

Watch what you like! I’ve been much happier just watching Dynamite/ROH/Rampage on a weekly basis.

Strictly from a wrestling standpoint, AEW is better. If you don't really care about storylines at all, that should never disappoint you.

Ever since not capitalizing on Sami for a real title shot, WWE's product has been fucked. You gave us Cody as the rumble winner only to fuck him over, even though people didn't want him to win it anyway. Roman's act is great, but it needs a shakeup. Some sort of storyline where he loses everything, including his confidence. They should have split his two belts, losing one at EC to Sami in Montreal and then losing the other to Cody at WM. Unless they do some BS story with Cody again, there's no one I can see Roman losing his title to at this point, and when you can almost guarantee the result, why even watch? Also, why wait until a B rate PPV in fucking Saudi to have this new title fought for. Hunter with some Vince level spite booking.

Big Butcher and Blade fan?

(I’d actually love for them to have a program with FTR)
Think I've said this here before, but I'm a massive Takeshita fan. I'm a big DPW guy, and the first time I saw Takeshita, I knew he was going to be a massive, massive star. He's Kota Ibushi levels for me.

I was joking. I really do like Butcher and Blade, but Takeshita is amazing.

Lots of rumors about Ibushi coming into AEW soon. I’m already drooling about the possibility of him joining this Elite/BCC feud.
