Right. Matter of fact; a case can be made to put him at 3rd base and LaPorta at 1st for the rest of the year. We have more young players who will join the team in a few days, and I'm not sure we need Peralta playing 3rd to the detriment of the young kids. Matter of fact; isn't it getting kind of boring watching Peralta suck up the field for the first two months of EACH year, and then catching fire after the team is out of contention? Why not trade this guy when his value is at it's peak?.... whatever the word "peak" means as it pertains to him.
I really do not want another year seeing Peralta do what he does. It's another case of doing the same thing in hopes of seeing a different outcome.
