2015 Draft Prospects

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
A lot of people have Ray sliding in the draft because he hasn't been able to work out in front of teams. Maybe 19 is too far, but I believe he will be in play at 12.

I really hate any scenario where we pick a QB not named Mariota or Winston in the 1st 2 rounds of this draft. I especially hate any scenario where we trade back into the 1st.

Drafting a Texas quarterback who doesn't have starting-level preparation for the NFL a few rounds too early is our thing. It's what the Browns do. Think of the heritage, the tradition...

In fairness, when Brandon Weeden was born there it was still part of Mexico.

Don't know how this guy is emerging.. I haven't heard any momentum of him coming to Cleveland.

If Miami is angling for a Charles Clay sign and trade, reporting interest in Maxx Williams only helps. I like Williams quite a bit, but Clay is ready to fit into the system right away. No idea what pick compensation Miami is asking for in return.

Clay has the transition tag, so I'm not sure a sign and trade would be in the works here.

Pretty sure that the Browns are out of the Charles Clay running.

1) Buffalo signed Clay to a pretty outrageous offer sheet;
2) Don't think Miami will match and;
3) The Browns likely won't trade for that contract if Miami did match.

Whelp, a lot changes in 15 hours, I had read an article about Miami trading Clay yesterday at lunch. Thanks for the Clay news.

Phills mentioned it in the FA thread but I'll shift it over here to avoid going off-topic.

Parker does nothing special, he's not elite at anything and seems like a forced selection at 12 just because of the perception that they need a WR.

I don't know how they could justify that.

The one thing I don't like about Parker is that he just seem to fight for the ball.

He catches a lot of stuff from the waist up, but down low, he's not very good.

He's just not a great WR. Good guy to have in the red zone, no doubt, but nothing stands out about him. I watch him and Jaelen Strong and I just find myself liking Strong more.
