lol i love your twitter dude.

Chris Parker isnt the writer who posts here, he's the poster who writes for the media.

youre family here. every single thing you write is the general sentiment of us over here. fuck lloyd, windy etc.

Just a quick correction, Chris - Maccabi beat Real Madrid in the finals last year, not Barcelona.

Other than that, great stuff as usual.
Thanks for that.

I was telling Campy, now that Blatt's rejected my last four questions, I think the NBA facilitator thinks I'm Joe Vardon. Meanwhile Vardon asks LeBron what "toughness" is and actually gets a great answer. Maybe I'm the tool now and he's the master.

Still frustrated the reference to his mentor's book, Smart Steal from the Strong, and opening to give his team a pat on back would entice him but he said, (is book emblematic of your team since playoffs began): "No."

After the "all of the above" and "we missed shots" (why so many 4th Q rebounds for GSW in gm 1), I don't think the NBA believes I'm any good. Curses on you Blatt-ie!

Haha, just keep at it, Chris. Your questions are great.
I think Blatt appreciates them too, but just doesn't want to elaborate on tactics that much and get into long conversations. I think he prefers the corporate talk he can hurl at Vardon's sillyness and not stir another shitstorm durin the finals, if he slips his tongue.

Keep doing great job Chris, keep asking your great questions, don't give up.

Don't say the C word here please!

So once the CAVS win the championship will Brendan Haywood also get a winners medal ? And if yes, then is he the luckiest player in NBA ?

That already happened in 2011. Guy talked trash about James in the past and now he is trying to get him another one for free again. Biggest emasculation I can imagine for a "tough guy" basketball player.

Chris, I think the issue is Blatt doesn't want to get too cerebral in these mass media interviews. He's mostly concerned about building his players up while avoiding any possibility of controversy.

I'm pretty sure he is completely focused on certain specific things as well as being in some ways mentally exhausted. So the last thing he would want to do is parry questions that fall beyond the bounds of the Bull Durham paradigm. The key to these highly public questions might be to dumb things down a few ticks while still trying to evoke the kind of insight you're seeking. The inane Vardon questions give these guys a canvas to say what they want and they don't necessarily want to give anything specific or profound. Unfortunately the goal seems to be praise, hero worship, and inspirational pablum. There must be some way to split the gap.

Great podcast. I think the one thing that gave me confidence going into the series is that the Griz had a lot of success when they were able to match up their strong perimeter defenders against Curry. I believe Tony Allen got hurt and then following that, the Warriors were able to get comfort offensively. I think the recipe to beat the Warriors is to make Curry's life hell. The trick that the Cavs are pulling off is that the other players aren't effective because they can match up to Curry reasonably well 1 on 1. They've been much better at keeping the other guys down than I thought they would be.

great comment. thanks for the insight. I was very close to asking him how it FELT "to be so close" just to F with him.

The press conferences are so boring. I just can't listen anymore to how great each player is, how hard the team plays, and how everyone is fighting. It's just an exercise in the English language. Blatt is really good at this too. I think he has 50 different superlatives to describe the same thing.
