MLB - Trade Rumors and Speculation

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I like Vargas more than most, Liriano is a timebomb for me though.

If they can add him on the cheap, and still add a right-handed bat...I'm all for it.

What kind of value do you think Jeff Samardzija has? I know hes cheap right now, but hes 28 and arb eligible next year. Any thoughts?

Think we can get anyone good from the Brewers?

I want Corey Hart. He can play 1B and RF/LF which is the type of versatile guys the Tribe like.

Can play at first instead of Kotch, can give Choo a day off, and can be a great upgrade in LF.

Ok, contend.

Also, both of the guys they acquired don't leave at the end of the year.

Fingers crossed.

I would fucking love to trade with Pittsburgh.

Their system is loaded with guys I love.

Did some research a few days ago when the talk of trading Choo came about and the Pirates were the trading partner I liked the most after looking through their hitting prospects.

I heard the Giants were interested in Choo but they don't have shit in the minors in terms of hitters.

I like it b00bs

Completely forgot about Guzman. He would be a nice guy off the bench (not the best defensively though).

b00bie -

I like your scenario a lot, really like Vargas and Headley but do not know much about Guzman so will take your word for it. I assume in your scenario that Tomlin gets sent to CBUS? What do you think of Hernandez taking Lowes spot in your proposed rotation? Masty - U - Vargas - ZMac - Hernandez....looks pretty damn good.

Also, that bullpen really takes shape with Raffy coming back.

Tim Fedroff should be called up. Cut Duncan.
Hitting .300 vs lefties, .400 vs righties at AAA.

I'd like to see Phelps replace Lopez. Phelps has hit again this year.

I guess we inquired about James Shields?

Not sure what we would have that they would want in terms of prospects

Duncan, after a slow start, has been pretty hot and performed OK against lefties.

Can't cut that right now, for another lefty...for a position that has no spot anyway.
