I say give Damon one more chance. If hes not going to solve his shooting problems at the Q then hes definately not going to on the road. Damon has done very well off the bench, his last few starts have been bleh. Maybe if he "limits" his 3 point shot attempts to like half of his shot selection he can get something going offensively. He is supposedly a very good off the ball defender, thats a plus, right?
I'm a little hesitant on Luke though. I just dont see him as starting material yet. Get him some consistent bench minutes, see what he does with them, and if its good stuff and theres still a starter problem, then lets talk Luke.
That leaves Ira. Now this resembles last year's starting 5 a bit because it was the starting 5 last year at a point. Last year the starting 5 wasn't the problem so much though, it was that we had nothing off the bench, and usually the starting 5 could stay with any other 5. Ira's offense hasn't been good or anything lately, so thats a concern, but I think Snow is doing fine. He shoots a good percentage, plays hard, and can play some D. What needs to happen is some plays need to get run for Drew. His offense will be needed with Ira and Snow in the back court. Those 2 are efficient at best but not scorers.
Basically I think we're seeing how much Larry impacted this team. Sure, he hasn't played the numbers he played last year, hes not going to be in all-star consideration, and his percentage is down, but damn, it was nice to have a guy who was very dependable on both sides of the ball starting at the 2.
