Carrasco is an awesome pitcher with what appears to be a fairly team-friendly contract. Have to be blown away to trade him.

Yeah, I don't see it happening unless it's a complete oversell.

But maybe a team gets really desperate and overbids for him. They clearly want a SERIOUS upgrade in talent if they're going to move him, and that's how they should play it.

They have no reason to trade him.
 
I still can't believe we are only 6 games back of a wild card spot. Anything can happen in 2 months and I bet the players still believe they can capture it. It's so easy to cut that in half and then before you know it fans are happy and talking about 3 games back.

With that said, we must sweep the As.

Stood pat. They believe in next season being much, much better. Hell if we're better at home this season then we are the buyers.

But I'll be positive for once and believe in the boys earning their checks. We're 6 games back of the Twins, the TWINS!! They'll choke, we also have 13 games left vs them.

We have the pitching, can we just get a hot hitting attack for once this season, long overdue. I can't count them out when we have 13 games against a wild card leader. Anything can, and will happen, and I'm a negative Tribe fan saying this.
 
Standing pat isn't that bad, given the trades they already made. It just makes no sense to break up any of the core locked in long-term, that can actually play, unless it's a massive upgrade.

I think trading away good pitchers on long-term contracts is kinda stupid personally.
 
Rather have just kept Scrabble.
