He doesn't seem to have much actual authority -- he makes recommendations. And he is accountable to Jimmy for the recommendations he makes.
Do you have any actual evidence that his recommendations to Jimmy have been a net negative, or are you just assuming --without having any actual evidence -- that the Browns have been following his recommendations, and that's why he should be fired?
Well, him sticking his nose into football ops is an issue for me. He's still producing player data after vocalizing that he didn't like Carson Wentz very much. He was a part of the organization that passed on Watson thereafter (don't say he wasn't involved; that ship sailed when he told us he was involved in the Wentz decision).
These are things you'd know about my opinion if you consciously tried to have a discussion.
I think the problem is that you haven't explained your basis for assuming that DePodesta has done something worthy of being criticized. You don't know what his recommendations were, you don't know which of his recommendations were followed and which weren't.
How can you make a valid criticism of that guy without knowing any of that? I truly don't understand. He may very well deserve all the criticism you're giving him. But there's no way for us to know that.
My man. Read my posts if you want to come like this. You're firing from the hip. Rafters consumed the posts and provided a retort & that's the best we've got. The Mods aren't here to stoke with passive aggressive posts & personal attacks. I had said my peace & here you come. SMH.
