2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just thinking on a rainy day,,,,,
Did you know in the off-season we could -

Trade Sexton and Love
To Portland
For CJ McCollum

It works on the trade machine.
Now, am I crazy or what. Consider this,
Maybe the Blazers might come to the same conclusion as us, that it's time to break up the backcourt combo. The Blazers have been on a treadmill to nowhere for years.
Maybe Love, while burning bridges in Cleveland, can show the NBA that he can still play a role.
McCollum and Love go home.
McCollum already knows how to work with a dynamic PG.
Yes, McCollum is 29.
We get to keep our #1 pick and get somebody like Kuminga.
That would be a pretty strong team.
:disdain (29):

This team is soft with Love out there and it's not a good look. give me more Hartenstein and more Stevens send Love somewhere anywhere even if its just home
Not this season, but if we go through the next with long spells of him not being able to play.... Al Horford time.

There's a KPJ thread in "Around the NBA"

This is a thread for Cavs talk.
When the Cavs are last in the NBA in scoring and they gave away a 20-year-old who just became the youngest player in history to score 50 points with 10 assists, then their decision to give up on him so quickly is definitely worthy of comment in a thread on the Cavaliers' organization. It was an organizational decision.

I never could figure out why they didn't just keep working with him, even if it meant not having him be with the team for a while, what was wrong with that? His potential justified more patience and effort, IMO.

I believe you also have s34 access as well if you want to post about him in his designated thread there as well.

The decision to give up on him was made months ago. There's nothing new about that decision -- the only thing that is new is his performance for another team. And if that is sufficient to bring it into the Cavs section, then it will never end.

cavs are idiots.. they move on too quick. the whole league is full of questionable behavior and connections. remember how they had to get rid of Ron Harper... same deal here with KPJr. got forbid we have a young black man on our team that likes guns, weed and hoes. That's the whole darn league fools....
