This made me think of a weird question.

Who does everyone believe was the Browns best coach and GM since we returned the NFL.....

Butch?
Savage?

Ughhhhh

Butch and Savage. By a mile.

Serious question. I am sure the Browns have identified 3 to 4 guys that they really want in free agency when the dead period ends that they want to sign in the first 2 to 3 days. Who are those guys on thier A list? I think there is probably two big names and two smaller names that they will heavily target in the first wave.
Then two weeks later in wave two another 2 to 3 guys who are much smaller names to help fill back of roster.

Hopefully Trumaine Johnson is one of the big guys.

Coach is a toss up between butch and mangini. I’ll never forget when mangini out coached belichick. He would have been very good if he had a real gm.

I would imagine with Gregg Williams still in the mix that the Browns will be players for Trumaine Johnson and LaMarcus Joyner of the Rams.

If we draft Minka and added then that would be eerily similar to JAX drafting Ramsey and then signing Bouye and Church. I know I keep doing it but the similarities between the two teams is there. Even all the way up to Sashi have worked for them before and them being heavily invested in analytics. Crazy.

I'm not sure Joyner has any interest in Gregg Williams misplaying him as a cornerback again after breaking out once he left.

I could see dorsey signing Albert Wilson, slot receiver from Kc. He could be a more cost effective signing than Landry. He's only 5'9 200lbs but I wouldn't rule him out.

Touché.

I don’t know much about how those guys were used. I just know Gregg has experience with them and the Browns have a lot of money to spend.

If it wasn’t good experience, that’s a shame.

Who says no?

I say no to Jeremy Hill. OK with the rest though!

So it's a given that our top two FA targets should be Chris Long and LeGarrett Blount right? :chuckle:
