To paraphrase, both Hinkie and Brown brought a modern plan to their teams that was very, very good... but in getting fired they probably improved their image through getting fired and allowing actual talented GMs take over with all those accumulated assets. Both Hinkie and Sashi are treated as martyrs, but neither one had a very good track record for hitting on draft picks. At some point, acquiring the right young players and developing them is the most important part of the job.
So, if somebody cut and pastes a picture of John Dorsey on the body of Vishnu, curry my goat and call me Indian.
