Actually you are making my point. It is never justified to pour a beer on someone. Its assault. You are justified to defend yourself when someone throws a beer on you, because you were just assault.
Say what you want to the players, but assaulting them is just not ok. I dont understand why anyone who isnt a complete asshole thinks its ok to assault a player under any circumstance other than self defense.
This why i hate going to live sporting events, way too many fans that are major entitled assholes who think assault is justified.
So in the context of justification of a crime, but not the level of seriousness of a crime, throwing a beer on someone because they jumped into the stands is 100% the same as saying their is justification for rape. Yes rape is a more serious crime obviously, but assault like rape is never justified if you are the aggressor. Jumping into the stands is not under the law or quite frankly any decency, a justified act, and when i hear "what does he expect?", it sounds 100% the same as a girl dressed like a slut and getting raped and someone says "what does she expect?"
