2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cedi has 3 years left on his contract. I just don't see anyone taking him off our hands. Both him and Korkmaz have played very well together internationally, I could see them seeing it could help both their careers to be on the same team.
3 years but the last year is not guaranteed.

Nesmith is too small. As bad as the shooting is, I think the priority above all should be length on the wing. Obviously shooting would be nice as well but I'm not sure the Cavs can afford both. DJ Wilson popped up in another thread and I thought that seemed like a good compromise, but apparently he's 6'10"?! I could've sworn he was like a small-ish wing. I still kinda like it, though. I remember him being solid defensively, switchable with good effort and pretty fun on the offensive end as well. Definitely has not hit his shooting stride but I don't think he's ever been given a real chance either. I think I would take him over Dougie but would be fine with either.
Big fan of DJ but he is a small ball 5/stretch 4. Wouldnt have any playing time here.

Thoughts on Tony Snell with the MLE?

Really? Wow. Dumb move. So the organization expects Allen, Nance, Mobley, Love to be healthy all year?
You forgot Kabengele. I liked Hartenstein but if the Cavs passed on him it's either because they think he wants to play in Europe, or they like Kabengele better, or both.

I don't necessarily need to hear two dudes yelling after every play, but the Cavs need two new announcers. Way too boring.

They really missed an opportunity to hire Richard Jefferson. Not sure he’d want to do it but he would have been perfect.

Mmmmmmmmm no the vet min for a guy who plays D and led the league in three point percentage???? People on here puzzle me at times with their thinking.
I also don’t understand the aversion to Tony Snell.

He was the most effective catch and shoot guy in the league last year, isn’t inept defensively, and has good wing size.

Who exactly are people holding out for? Kawhi? :chuckle:

Snell hardly played for Atlanta and averaged 5.3 ppg. I think there’s an aversion to overpaying someone, who isn’t all that good, just to sign someone.

He hardly played for an ECF team that is 5-6 deep on the wing. That’s not a death knell.
