Chad O'Shea was his WR coach when Cooks was in NE
O'Shea Jackson Jr once played his dad in a movie.

If they traded for anyone, it should be a young player under contract for at least 2021, similar to Rodney Harrison.
In addition to the draft and FA, next year in defense we essentially add Delpit, Curtis Weaver, and Harrison with an actual training camp under him. Plus second year growth from Elliot and Phillips.
Trading picks for a high priced vet or impending FA who will come in and take weeks to get acclimated makes no sense to me.
Stefanski said he would “take care” of the team during the bye week, so I don’t think there is going to be too much traditional practice during the first week. That said, sure 2.5 weeks to acclimate(if they make a deal by Wednesday) is pretty decent but look how long it took the, to be comfortable works Harrison in. I still stand by not wanting to add someone who isn’t able to be back in 2021. Or someone who cuts 10-15M into our rollover cap for 2021. I’d be looking for guys like Quinnen Williams or Desmond King, not high priced vetsBrowns bye week is the week after the trade deadline. Any player we trade for won't play against The Raiders anyway but they'll have a week to get acclimated.
I really think if we're giving up any assets at the trade deadline this season it has to be for Defensive help. Baker is at his best when he's distributing to the TEs and 3-4 WRs and i think we'll be ok once Chubb and Hooper get healthy. Maybe add a cheap WR but no one expensive.

And, maybe, Greedy, too? Eh, won't count on it. But according to Sportrac Andrew Billings, who signed a one year contract with us but elected to sit out due to Covid, will have his contract roll over to 2021. So that's another DT for next year.
Looking back on these trades, the talent level isn't so bad that it make the trade seem uneven, and we knew the salary was uneven going in, but the injuries are starting to make the whole trade suck.

Are there any young LB we can somehow get from other teams? Similar to how we got Harrison from Jax..
