Unfortunately, I've exhausted all my college eligibility. But please, take my comment a little more personally.
FWIW, I wasn't a huge fan of his game prior to the Achilles tear and his performance this season to begin with. He had decent numbers last year but the last 3 games of the year against PSU/Michigan/Clemson... 21 carries for 45 yards. A huge turning point in that Clemson loss was Dobbins getting hurt and missing a quarter or two and Teague was so ineffective filling in. The offense was nowhere nearly the same until Dobbins came back in.
He's just not it, IMO. Good enough to beat up on the dregs of the Big Ten but not good enough to make impact plays against the elite teams. Kind of like a poor man's version of Mike Weber, who was probably our worst every down RB in the Urban/Day era, or like I said Lydell Ross 2.0. I guess we've just been spoiled with Hyde, Zeke, Dobbins, and the few games of Sermon to where the bar has been raised.
