2021 Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Guys I need someone to get irrationally excited about. I don't care where we draft, just give me a dude who should get drafted in or around #5. I am leaning Jalen Green - people said he could be the best from the draft class and he isn't going top 3.

There can be only 1 tho - so if someone should displace Green, let me know.

I been let down the last 3 years , what the old saying fool me once shame on you etc etc etc……So whatever happens it is what it is

I think at 5 Green will be gone. There are 3 guys IMO that you could convince yourself of there.

Kuminga - Youngest guy in the class, amazing athleticism and tools. To me, he looks like Wiggins that is actually aggressive and wants to play. His feel for the game is his biggest weakness IMO. He's a guy I would love to draft despite him not really being ready. I would avoid I guess if the intel came back bad on him. I think it is a hard sell for a team who wants to compete sooner than later. He is the Patrick Williams of this draft and if he puts it together, he has all the tools.

Barnes - Just one of those difficult to classify guys. I do think weirdos are a smart bet because all the best guys have some kind of mismatch. His shooting is terrible and the Ben Simmons comparisons are not without merit, but he is a more willing shooter. He doesn't refuse to shoot it. He has a really good basketball mind, and like I said with Haliburton last year, that is something that is always smart to bet on. Defensively I love him with Okoro, offensively it requires Okoro to be a much better and willing shooter. I do think Okoro will be fine from 3pt after what I saw end of the year, so I love love Barnes.

Jalen Johnson - Is the MPJ sort of risky guy who has all the talent in the world sort of prospect. He had some 20/20 games along with like 7 assists that were eye popping. He has it, he is just that enigma that you don't know what his deal is mentally? Again one you might avoid if intel comes back bad, but he could be the most talented guy in the draft potentially. I think he is a sf? I am not really sure. He can do basically everything you want. His body control is eerie and he has a very fast awareness. Knows when to pass or score, can finish through contact and you can tell he has that very precise control. That thing where steals and blocks say that this guy is faster than others and will be able to compete in the NBA, Johnson shows that sort of thing where he doesn't look sped up, just plays his own pace, but is faster somehow than others? That is what i liked about SGA coming out. He just had that sort of control at all times where he never looked rushed. He seems like a guy who could be a black hole, but instead he is a really great passer and makes some passes that I think are better than anyone on our team.

Jalen Johnson would be my guy if I thought Koby could handle that. Is the lockerroom solid enough for him? I have no idea, but he seems amazing to me. He has quit several programs in both high school and thought Duke was a waste of his time. I am not sure Cleveland will be enough for him.

Done. Lots of people are irrationally excited about trading for Ben Simmons.
We can trade Garland, Sexton, Love, and this year's first, assuming it's above #5, for Ben Simmons. We are basically offloading our back court misfit to another team AND we get Simmons on the cheap. $40M/year is a steal - surely he will have a great attitude going from a 1 seed to the Cavs, and surely he will fall in love with the City and fix his broken shot and frail confidence.

You are just a hater.

Brian Scalabrine on his morning show with Frank Isola on NBA Radio today said that his daughter was at practice driving to the hoop and passed off. Coached yelled at her: "Don't be Ben Simmons!"

He played like a complete pussy in Game 7. Obviously scared. The last guy who should be playing in Philly.

That kind of move wouldn't surprise me. I could see the Cavs using this draft as the chance to achieve better fit.

pick 3 and the cavs trade to Orlando for picks 5 and 7.
