2021 Season | Series #48 | White Sox @ Indians | Sep. 23 - 26

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They are now discussing two things this FO has never done....making a major off season trade that adds, instead of subtracts...and trading for MLB impact offense.
How do you know they are discussing a major trade for impact offense? Not saying they aren't, I'm just wondering how you know. Or are you just assuming?

I don’t know about you guys, but I did rise to my feet ( up off the couch) and gave Bieber a hand . He has been missed, and now it’s great to have him back!

Will they send him back out for one more??

Time for Berto to retire. His bat speed is and has been horrendous over 2 years now. Probably the worst in the bigs right now.

Simmer determined to keep off the 40 man come December

I agree! His game is supposed to be speed, yet he's well below average as a baserunner. (Huge mistakes two days in a row.) Doubt if he'll ever be more than a .230 hitter with occasional power who strikes out over 1/3 of his PAs. Wave good-bye, and make room for somebody who's head is more into the game.

Zero offensive production from catcher position all season. Gotta change next year

Gose looked awesome although he only faced four batters. Three K's and a weak ground ball by Tim Anderson. Stephan also looked good except for one bad 0-2 pitch to a guy hitting .354.

Add Gose's performance to the ones from Mejia and Francisco Perez yesterday and I'm seeing a lot of potential for the bullpen next year. Time to move on from Shaw and Wittgren. I'm OK with keeping Blake Parker around. He can still get hitters out and he has a lot of knowledge to share.

Bieber looked like he never left. Nine up, nine down.

Indians hitters struck out 16 times. Pathetic. Franmil avoided the Golden Sombrero with a weak ground ball in his final at-bat.

Lucky 13th time Tribe has been shut out this season.

Probably.. yes.. but only if Bieber goes to DH and asks/lets him know he's up for another start.. Nice outing.. all of his pitches looked good.. especially the depth on his slider..

I'd make an exception for Mercado. But I'd also add Naylor to that list.
Mercado and his 219 batting average is at the top of my list. He's flat out terrible. Valera has had a great second half. Palacios is a very interesting candidate. Kwan and Gonzalez have both had monster years. Clean out the dead wood and move onto a new era. Can't be even remotely close to the present day rubbish.
