I Just don't think that lineup is going to make a significant difference. Our lineup presently is severely offensively challenged. 4 1/2 no-hitters, God knows how many shutouts.
I like Canha, but he's 32. Plus he's just not a difference maker. I don't think Laureono is either.
WE need to acquire a guy that can really barrel up.

I had an affection for Brantley before anybody else did...and Choo...and Franmil...and Quantrill...and Amed.

In hindsight, everybody...or almost everybody...loved them. But not at the beginning.

Eli Morgan's giddyup in his FB... is short lived.. he'll be down into the low 90's upper 80's as the 35th - 55th pitch is delivered. It's the greater than 10 mph separation between his FB and his change up that keeps the batter off balance.. That and he paints with black.. It's a lethal combination.. but one that is ever so delicate.. a little off.. and he'll give up some gopher balls. Hopefully.. solo shots..

Indicates that, although Robert was fooled, he was able to control the strike zone by keeping his hands back..but just a little under the ball. Keeping it in the yard.. is always an Eli Morgan goal..

and in the last month Gimenez has raised his numbers across the board.. from just barely above the interstate to a more solid .240/.330/.380 triple slash.. The homers aren't something I'd count on.. but very good glove work and hitting.. this is a kid that's growing into a starting SS spot on the roster in 2022..
