What do you think about the center from Iowa? I've read he's the best center prospect since blah blah blah.

Who is the prototype center prospect in recent history? The first one that jumps to mind is Alex Mack. Nick Mangold also comes to mind. What do you think about the center from Iowa? I've read he's the best center prospect since blah blah blah.

If Landon Dickerson were healthy, and if you view him as a center instead of a guard, he's probably my favorite center prospect of the past 10 years.
I haven't looked at the kid out of Iowa at all--but I do love me some offensive line film.
DE/WR has to be considered our top priorities in next years draft, right? From what I've been able to gather, this EDGE class is very deep in terms of top 30-50 ish players.

I think the positions of need will be WR, DE, DT, and IOL, depending on what happens with Teller. DPJ has been a slight disappointment thus far, after all the hype around him in training camp. Hopefully he can get it going. Those are absolutely the target positions.
I do wonder how things go with Clowney and Takk. So far, Clowney has been a minor disappointment but week three had some flashes. Takk might be a Kareem Hunt case where he is better in a minor role in our organization than getting big money in a chaotic organization. I'd love to see the Browns go with a DE with their late first rounder.
The key is I don't know if they want a second-tier receiver. DPJ and Schwartz are already providing young depth that have a chance to develop into a solid #2 down the line. It's top 45 or forget about it at WR.

If both OBJ and Jarvis want to play together one would hope they take slightly smaller deals than market value to have the chance to retire together on CLEIt's early in the season. In early October of 2020 I thought defensive edge was the #1 draft priority, then by June they didn't even draft one.
Malik McDowell under team control with ERFA protections takes one big hole away. I do wonder how injuries effect the market for OBJ and Landry, accelerating the likelihood of renegotiated contracts.
McDowell has been a huge find, for sure. Aside from him, Elliot, & Togiai, who hasn’t played at all, everyone else is a free agent, so there’s a good bit of uncertainty there. Same goes at Edge, as everyone, aside from Myles, is going to be a free agent and may not be back. It's early in the season.
