2022 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
EJ Liddell is a guy that I would love to see us target with our 2nd rounders, even if it means packaging both of them to move into the 20's to get him. Great defender who is short for his position but has really long arms (had a great block on Branchero tonight) and good defensive instincts and timing. His offensive game has continued to evolve and I think he can eventually hit NBA three pointers and have some SF/PF versatility. Massive future/leader guy as well going all the way to HS in a very competitive Chicago basketball circuit
Yeah I was thinking the same thing for several weeks. He is the type of Guy Golden State will draft and use in their rotation.
Pipe dream as of today but a big ten draft of Ivey and Lidell would be amazing.

I'm liking what I've been seeing of Wendell Moore, Jr.. He's young for a junior and will only be 20.8 years old at the time of the draft. I think we all need to grow accustomed to the fact that the Cavaliers are going to be picking in the mid to late 1st round this year. That said, here are some SF prospects in that range to keep an eye on:

Wendell Moore, 20.8, Jr., 6'6", Duke
Marjon Beauchamp, 20.7, 6'7", G-League
Julian Champagnie, 21.0, Jr., 6'7", St. Johns
Jabari Walker, 19.9, 6'8", So., Colorado

New Dream Draft(excludes trades and operates under the assumption that we draft somewhere between 15-20

1st: Best two way wing available. More of a SG/SF wing than big Forward wing. Want a plus jumper/3P shot, siahsome ball handling/play creation but still at a legit 6'6"-6'8". Don't want to sacrifice too much on ceiling but more than willing to draft a Soph/Junior who is smart and ready to plug and play as a rookie.

2nd(HOU): EJ Liddell

2nd(SAS): Isaiah Mobley

Then re-sign Rubio for two more years. Love and Cedi both remain as quality depth unless a trade that's worthwhile presents itself. Not sure what to do with Sexton, but prefer to S&T him for a pick or a disruptor backup big with a different style and body type than our main bigs(think someone like a Montresz Harrell/Richaun Holmes type. Enforcer, hard fouls, solid screens/picks, change of pace energy guy. Or if we can't re-sign Rubio, re-sign Sexton on a short term, price it deal to allow him to establish to the league that he's healthy and can play well on a winning team.

Dyson Daniels, team lacks an aussie

This thread needs more Kenny Lofton Jr.

Good game featuring two guys who will be long gone by the time the Cavs pick. Murray has really taken his game to the next level from a year ago.

Scoot and Victor both seem like ELITE prospects. Should be in a different tier than all of the guys in this draft when it's all said and done.
