2023 free agency

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not sure short middle-aged Jewish dudes sign any contracts in the NBA, outside of as agents, but I get your drift...

Calling me middle aged at this point might be a compliment, chances my fat ass lives to 102 is slim.

But still stand by the fact i have a better chance to sign with the Cavs than KPJ, even if all i get is a joke 10 day contract.

That's a double whammy. Porter Jr. had beef with Mobley's dad in college AND the GM of the Cavs? I guess we'll never see him in wine & gold ever again.

Jaxson Hayes to replace Lopez. Hayes is dumb and should never handle the ball but as a pure lob threat I think he can be useful as an end of bench big for our play style

He is an idiot. But he is a supremely athletic idiot. I’d take him

All i know is Koby better get busy signing or trading for some competent 3 point shooting wings or we'll never reach our ceiling.

Speaking of supremely athletic idiots, if we are suddenly deciding to not care about character anymore and want to bring in Hayes, Miles Bridges only got a 30 game suspension from the NBA, BUT 20 of those games are being credited to the 22-23 season. It means he will only miss 10 games in the 23-24 season if some team is willing to sign him.

As has been pointed out before, his problems run much deeper than what eventually led up to him severely beating his girlfriend. He was a ticking time bomb that everyone could see was going to explode.

However, the NBA and the public in general, loves redemption stories. I’m sure he will get another chance due to his talent, and he would be such a perfect fit. I just can’t see the Cavs front office changing course on their character assessments for this team.

Windhorst made an interesting comment last week on Simmons' podcast in a conversation regarding Draymond Green's impending free agency. It veered a little more into talk about Gilbert and Ishbia with Windy stating "nobody loves Michigan State guys more than Michigan State guys" and vaguely alluding to that being something to keep an eye on this summer ("that's all I'll say about that"). I took it to mean Green, but Bridges is a former Spartan too...

I cant see how, let alone if, the Suns could add restricted free agent Bridges. They have CP0, Booker, KD and Ayton making more than the salary cap alone. Are they trading one of those guys? I can't see it.

Cha probably brings Bridges back on a 3/60 or something (i have no idea making up the math there). They still have RFA rights i believe. Not sure how we would afford Draymond, but Id rather have Naz Reid for that price.

Could the Cavs make a play for Austin Reaves?
I think Reaves is a bit of a mirage. I believe he's a solid role player, and certainly a steal as an undrafted player, but a lot of things come easier when you are playing alongside Lebron & AD. I'd like him on our team, but to get him you'd probably have to give up LeVert. I think LeVert is a better player.

Someone post a list of unrestricted FA 3's
