2024 Cleveland Browns Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I could see them trading down early, trading up later. They typically love the value in the second day. I do also see the Browns turning over some spots at offensive line, feels like they will invest in one or two new O-line projects for Dickerson.
They quietly have an aging suspect OL.

Bitonio - 32
Conklin - 29 (always hurt)
Teller - 29
Dunn - 29
Wills - 24 (no need to explain)
Jones - 22

They need to invest in Guards and a tackle

Which is exactly why I expect either the 2nd or 3rd rounder to be a OL, and wouldn’t be surprised to see them take another project later as well…

Problem is, where do you hide those OL? That’s already 6 guys there + Pocic and Wypler which makes 8 rostered players.. Hudson probably makes it, and they also have Adeniji who they just signed and Deaton from a previous draft class..

They need more than one in this class but drafting more than one assumes that player has a better future than Hudson, Adeniji or Deaton..

I don't think Hudson is a lock to make this squad, depending on who they draft.

I always liked Higgins. I wish we still had him. He caught everything thrown his way. Coaching staff did him dirty DNPing him so many games. He produced when he got thrown to.

Great hands but he wasnt an elite or even good route runner because of the lack of foot speed and more importantly lack of quickness.

I like Higgins, but I get why he didnt play a ton. He went to Carolina a few years ago and was only active for 3 games and caught zero passes. It wasnt just the Browns that didnt play him or want him, he coulnt find a job last year.

Offensive nugget from MKC:

“It will feature more three wide receiver sets, more New England-style dropback concepts that Dorsey learned from his former Bills boss Brian Daboll, and new running concepts out of the shotgun and other formations. The additions of Rees and Charlton will feature the trickling up of some college philosophies and trends, and the Browns plan to be on the cutting edge of offense in 2024.”
