I think for movies like this it's a good idea to have a spoilers thread. Use the rate the last movie thread for a spoiler free post of if you liked it or not, use this thread to discuss plot points you liked/didn't like.
I watched MOS last night, then Batman vs Superman tonight. While watching the end of MOS, I thought what about all of the people in or around those buildings they are destroying? So I really like that that's where this movie started, showing the other side of that battle and how that was the origin of the Batman vs Superman part of that.
At the same time, I'm sure people who haven't watched MOS recently and don't remember the details would find a lot of things confusing. I'm glad i watched MOS again before going.
I see some people and reviewers complain that Batman vs Superman part turned when Superman said "we have to stop him from killing Martha" or something to that effect because "what if their mother's names were different". Only they aren't different. They didn't give them names for this movie to make that work, their mother's always had the same first name. That stopped batman long enough for him to understand that Lex Luther has been manipulating everything.
I thought they could have left out Batman's whole dream within a dream sequence. There was too much information in that of things he didn't know yet.
They also should have figured out how to do the chase scene without Batman killing anyone.
I'm not sure why a hybrid between Zod and Lex turned out to be a giant monster. One plot point they blew is I don't think he should have had super powers before he was exposed to the sun.
And the very end didn't make a lot of sense time wise. Bruce Wayne was at the grave when Lois was standing there, then saw Lex Luther in prison, then Lois dropped the dirt.
I'm not sure how they plan to explain in the next movie that Clark Kent is alive. The superman part is easier.
