A guy who I think deserves more consideration for this defense: Kyle Van Noy.

There hasn’t been a lot of conversation about him since the news of his inevitable release but I think he’d be fantastic here. We are in dire need of a linebacker who at least presents the threat of a pass rush. That’s something we’ve sorely lacked at the position for the better part of 20 years.

Trying to remember the last linebacker we’ve had who topped 6 sacks. Was it Wimbley?

Little football perspective, that man is throwing around that weight like its nothing yet he plays one of the "Smaller" positions on a football field.

Oh and he is going to be a rookie, coming off injury so hasnt been working out as a pro for 8 years like some.

Football is an insane sport when talking about size and strength of the ahtletes, very impressive showing for a safety though.
