Even after the initial time to process, I would like to pile on with a complaint about the prime time game breakdown.
5 games each
Packers, Saints, Cowboys, Seahawks, Steelers, Ravens, Rams, 49ers, Chiefs and Bucs
4 games each
Bears, Vikings, Raiders, Colts and Bills
3 games each
Giants, Patriots, Chargers, Titans, Browns, Cardinals and the Football Team
On top of that, only 1 of our 3 primetime games are at home, and its not even a Sunday or Monday night. Additionally, our two road primetime games? Both against our division rivals.
Sure, you have to play the games on your schedule and I get it that some of you like having Sunday afternoon games. But there is a large subset that looks forward to night games in Cleveland. Additionally, the players repeatedly say how much they love primetime games. To give teams like the Saints with no QB, Packers with potentially no QB, Steelers with no QB, and Ravens with no QB 2 more prime time games than the Browns? That's a slight I hope the players use to motivate themselves.
