Sexton had 3-4 of his best passes in his young career so far against Detroit. An acrobatic drives to rim where he passed the ball up to TT under the basket and a monster dunk by McKinnie. The difficult pass to TT in transition was also ridiculous.

Plenty more that created nice hockey assists for wide open shots. He’s also going on Shaqtin’ a Fool for that dumb self bounce pass for a dunk attempt lol.

23 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 10-19/0-1/3-4. Maybe he'll do with assists this year what he did with his 3-point percentage in the second half last year. He's still a work in progress IMO.

Collin is starting to see more and more. Plus his speed is elite.

Why are you complaining;he has five assists yet you're bitching about him not passing the ball. Him and Love are the only reason,why the Cavs won tonight but you want to nitpick.

If,you're going to complain about him not passing the ball. How about complaining about Garland being invisible the last five or six games.

It's amazing, how everyone wants to nitpick everything about Sexton but says nothing about the bad game Garland,Tristan and the rest of the team not performing.

Does Sexton has flaws...I agree,but I'm not going to nitpick every single thing he doesn't do correctly.

The Cavs won tonight yet you want to complain about it..

Agree 100%. Sexton has elite speed. Can score Is tenacious. The passing is starting to come. Not giving up on garland. Has a lot of sextons skills but is a softer player imo
 
Any video link of the shaqtinafool moment in the last minutes?

On the bright side, looks like he is putting more effort in his passing... Hope that continues, in the long run I still think the Cavs would need to choose between him and Garland... Hard to win with 2 undersized starting guards who is also not good in defense which is further compounded by an undersized frontcourt... Cavs essentially undersized at all positions when playing athletic teams
 
Shaqtin moment was with 1:02 left in the game where he had a wide open dunk and he tried to be creative to slam the ball down the ground for alley oop but the defender was too close behind and just ended up traveling.

On positives, the passing was great today - like where did that come from suddenly. It was great to see him find the open man cutting. Before he would just take ill-advised shot but he was able to make not just a good pass but a really good pass in traffic with good play making decision at least 3-4 times today. Great step in right direction today.

Sometimes the light suddenly comes on. Especially with 21 year olds
As to that shaqtin moment. Not sure where that came from. He has never been a hot dog. Another learning moment. Lol

Didn't look as bad as I initially expected... He realized the last millisecond that it was a bad idea... He has been trying to dunk a lot lately, he barely dunked even when he was open in his rookie year
 
Could that Sexton play at the end been a response to the self pass off the backboard dunk by
Drummond earlier in the game?
 
saw a few legit passes and some willingness to move the ball side to side in the offense as well as feed the post.
