They should maximize the 2 together. Hard when Darius is hurt. I thought Collin had a good game. He has chemistry with Mobley. Could be really cool.

Mobley,Collin and Rubio plays good together,so far but Im not gonna go there about benching Darius yet....

In a 8-9 man rotation they are all going to get starters' minutes. Wouldn't worry too much about it.
Sexland is going to start. Wouldn't be surprised if Rubio/Okoro close out some games for defensive purposes. It won't always look pretty but JBB needs to win games to keep his job.
Cavs won tonight..let's celebrate!

Sexton did an excellent job of facilitating the offense tonight for good stretches of minutes. Not his fault that his supporting cast didn't convert on all the wide open looks Collin gave them. And he got his shots as well. Nothing to complain about from this guy.

I think they should take Sexton out early bring him back with Rubio

Rubio been a huge upgrade over Dellavedova. While, both are great facilitators, but Rubio is light years better when it comes to making his shots.

I think Collin felt he needed to play hero ball sometimes because Delly couldn't make his shots. Now,he can play more under control since he got someone with him that can hit shots.

There was a few times, you saw Rubio talking to Sexton. He's been a good help for Collin and I hope it continues.

The conspiracy of the league against Sexton continues, with ticky tack foul calls to remove him from being able to obliterate the hawks and demonstrating his true value to the league. ;) Instead, we get a quiet game. We'll take the win though!

Man, that's discouraging, watching Sexton set up all those guys for good looks that resulted in brick after brick. Love is 0-for-5 on 3's while Marky is at 33.3%. Collin should have had 4-5 assists last night.
Right. Sexton should have had something like 10 assists last night. I like the way he is playing now. Compared to the player he most resembles in his time here (Jordan "Top Gear" Clarkson)... some of the descriptions of Sexton I read in discussion of his play make him sound like that more often than not. Clarkson on the Cavs was actual tunnel vision. I see Sexton is trying to leverage his best skills to make the right play now instead of getting the bucket.

This team lacks outside shooting, and that's the game the NBA wants teams to play nowadays... Kyrie had similar issues earlier in his career. Dishing to only get the bricks.

In the situation the Cavs decide to move on (I don't wish for this to happen btw) and he goes to a team with a much better wing and shooting situation, I expect him to look much better than he does now. He came into a disastrous situation (scraps of LeBron), then to another one (Beilein) ... this might be the first season where the team is attempting to have some sort of offensive identity.

Beilein wanted a PG. Once Hunter was gone, Garland was BPA. A 6th man is a 6th man.
That’s why it’s important to have a separate coach & GM and coaches shouldn’t be making picks.

Sexton is obviously trying to play more within the system. Doesn't look completely comfortable at it to me so far but it's very early.

He's the anti-Simmons. You tell him he's not doing something well, and he will absolutely bust his ass to try to fix it. He uses criticism as fueling improvement rather than fueling resentment.

I don't disagree necessarily when Garland first comes back, but if the team struggles suddenly ,I think Rubio takes over the job and Garland takes a back seat this season.

When you are trying to build something who the coach is has something to do with it for sure but I doubt any of these coaches over the years have actually made the picks. they play the cards they are dealt imo
The issues arise when the owner meddles

Wait until Rubio has his first 2-11 game. You will be very quiet then.
