I think the Celtics will put Jaylen Brown on Sexton tomorrow.

I'm down with that. Brown would be so tired chasing Sexton around that he'd have no energy left for offense.

Way too early to say one way or another. If he is our best player and we make the playoffs and he's putting up an efficient 27-5 with good clutch play, and hard nosed defense....he probably will get a max extension which starts around 28 million a year and by the end gets up around 35+.

Kemba went at him last night. Sexton wasn’t ready for it.

Will be interesting to see how Sexton responds tonight.

Sexton did not play good at all. He usually be one of the few bright spots when the team plays bad.

He didn't even play in the fourth quarter that's how bad he was.I hope he bounce back tonight against the Lakers.

Clunkers happen. Collin and JB need to take note on how/when the C's doubled him and took away his main outlet on the perimeter. C's played hungry, Cavs didn't.

Didn't watch the game but from what I gather the Celtics blitzed Sexton with a strong double team and he didn't handle it well. Knowing him I expect him to watch the tape with coach Lindsay and use it as a growth opportunity. Better he learn these things now than in the playoffs.

Having Sexton double-teamed was inevitable given his ability to create his own shot and his suspect passing out of trouble. Probably take some time to adjust him and the team to deal with this. Long way to go to get this team where it needs to be. Patience will be needed.

He tried to pass out of it and they picked off the passes as well. They just really read the scouting report and watched tape. They really wanted to win.

Celtics were not only prepared but also red hot. Jalen Brown was basically like Sexton in Double OT. He couldn't miss.

Don't get me wrong, cavs were half a step slow on D all night, but the shooting woes the Celtics had the past few games was replaced by a bunch of marksmen. I think it was regression to the mean by both teams.

The ultimate question is going to be if Sexton is going to develop enough to be a great player on a good team or just a great player on a bad team.

Will be a very interesting thing to watch.

Teams took notice and is trying to shut him down. He can overcome and rise into a star. Only time will tell.

I will say this while Sexton need to work on teams putting pressure on him. The team needs to put another scorer on the floor with him so teams won't trap or pressure him.

Okoro ain't a scoring threat yet.

Javale ain't a scoring threat.

While,Cedi can score he wasn't out there much in the second half for whatever reason. And,he's inconsistent.

Windler haven't gotten many opportunities, for whatever reason.

The same can be said about Dotson.

I would like to see another scorer with Sexton when Garland is not in the game.

He's fine. They put good defenders on him and made his life hard. Should have had 8 more free throws.
