Animal Glue

An animal glue is an adhesive that is created by prolonged boiling of animal connective tissue.

These protein colloid glues are formed through hydrolysis of the collagen from skins, bones, tendons, and other tissues, similar to gelatin. The word "collagen" itself derives from Greek κόλλα kolla, glue. These proteins form a molecular bond with the glued object.

Stereotypically, the animal in question is a horse, and old horses that are put down are often said to have been sent to the "glue factory".

LOL

You can huff as much glue as you want, Jeter is a bottom 10 shortstop in the league as of last year.

I can't believe what I'm reading around here...

Not shocked however--it's not like any of you know what winning baseball is....

Derek Jeter used to be a great player, unfortunately now they'll be be winning in spite of him...

This is what signing with the Yankees does to you, apparently.

I can't stand Sabathia, but as a life long Yankees and Knicks fan, it's good to see the baseball players supporting the Knicks...

I'm not sure playing for the Yankees and having shitty facial hair designs are related, but I dont claim to be a fashion expert?

X is up in the baseball thread...

Just to sum it up: I was correct and Jeter is great.

Looks like Pip is gradually aligning completely with NYC. I'm actually here in NYC at the Fairfield Inn after enjoying a night on the town, ready for another one tomorrow.

Its really a great city...

Lot of exciting stuff going on in the sports world here right now. Lot for a fan to get into...

We lost another... Peyton Hillis wants nothing to do with you anymore.

Funny thing is...I was just down at the Winter Meetings all week in job discussions with a few teams.

My best option to date??....The Yankees.

How much does my soul cost??...We'll see.

It appears I might be the only free agent New York can land this offseason, because the Rangers are trying like all holy hell to keep Cliff Lee.

If by gradually aligning you mean fully there, then I am gradually aligning...

Hey if you see Jeter, give him a MAC for me...

New York sports is life...

My soul is pretty cheap these days. :chuckles:

In all seriousness, though, best of luck to you. If you get the job, make sure you celebrate by going to the finest steak house I've ever been to in my life, Peter Luger in Brooklyn.

You won't regret it.
