Quick question for all y’all who wanted to win meaningless games to take momentum into the offseason:

What happens if we do what you want, play everyone and try to win, but end up embarrassing an entire organization and city with our effort? Do we take negative momentum into the offseason?

Asking for a friend.

Momentum doesn't exist season to season.

The Browns finished 2018 strong and sucked in 2019.

The Browns finished 2019 shitty and were great in 2020.

The Browns exercised all sorts of demons in 2020 and sucked in 2021.

The Browns are the Browns….

They are the Los Angeles Clippers of football….

Sorry some of us wanted to beat our rivals?

Agreed. But injuries matter (thankfully it looks like we avoided any catastrophic ones) and the Browns/Baker relationship 100% got more hostile tonight.

Maybe sometimes it’s better to just throw in the towel and stop the bleeding. Especially with guys fighting injuries for no reason.

Fuck it.

Between all the believing into the QB, the Coaches, the gameplan, the organization and what was delivered to us last night was disgraceful.

The fact that KS did not offer any help to the embarrassment of James Hudson (22 years old) was sickening. He personally shit on the team. He shit on the players that battled on defense ans they deserved better.

It takes a slimey motherfucker to accept a slimey motherfucker and condone what he has done. Ownership to coach.

Fuck the Browns. Thank goodness for Mobley, Garland, Allen.

Should be fun watching Cleveland football continue to suffer. Just gonna watch the NFL for Browns to lose and read everything about it. Don't ever believe in these assholes being a winner.

Steelers are going to reload and figure it out before Cleveland too, book it. They came into the year expecting a down year and still better than the Browns.

Have you missed the point that about half the fans are making, that last night was an intentional and strategic move by the Browns organization to expose Mayfield as a substandard QB option so they can cut ties with minimal negative fan reaction and backlash?

If that was intentional then that is truly slimy as hell.

Nothing slimy about it when guys are open and he won’t deliver the ball and pump faked like 3 times to take a sack
Putting your rookie 5th OT 1 on 1 with one of, if not the best pass rusher in the league on purpose to get him killed is truly slimy. Whether you like Baker or not that is truly shitty

Berry just needs to blow things up again.

The offense is a mess. Keep the offensive line, maybe chubb too. Trade everyone else that has any value and just completely rehaul the offense.

Entire coaching staff can be handed their walking papers today. Every single last one of them can get fucked. Maybe Woods has turned a corner, but who cares.

Defense has some real talent, however they also have some big holes and I dont know how well they mesh.

Either way fuck this team

This is literally insane.

If Baker played league average, you’d be celebrating a division win and a home playoff game.

I have no idea what happened with Joe Brady in Carolina, but that guy was seen as a wunderkind after what he did with the LSU offense. I'd like to see an experience OC brought in here to call plays , whether its Brady, Jason Garrett, or someone along those lines.

Rhule tried to save his job.

I am not sure the play calling was the issue this year. At times maybe could have been better, but every team can say that. The issue was that the QB could not make a simple reads or make simple throws. How many times did the plays called create a wide open WR and our QB made the wrong read, or made a horrible throw. With just league average QB play this team would have been a top 10 offense.

The biggest gripe I have is not playing Chubb more last night. On the other side, Harris played almost every snap, yet subbed out Chubb for long stretches.
