I don't think they ever planned to cut Isaiah Mobley when they drafted him. If that was even under consideration, they wouldn't have drafted him. They aren't looking to mess around with the Mobley family.

So who else? Windler, I suppose?

Dam people need to calm down, we’re talking about someone who will probably be converted to a 2way deal, if he counted on to contribute anything this year, we’re fuck…….

They would have converted him to a 2 way deal before waiving him if that was the case. It's not impossible that he's brought back. But that's a move they could have made before cutting him.

IMobley is slow and sometimes earth boundish.. but he makes basketball moves.. has a lot of assists for a big, and occasionally knocks down a long shot.. I don't know if they can fix slow, but he is Wirth a shot at improving to back up big statis.status.. that said, I do like Diakite, so maybe he comes back after waivers.. Numbnuts is good riddance..

Good read, thanks. Reminds me of conversations I had with my friend who played a little in college, assistant coach in college numerous places, assistant G league, part time NBA scout... but not near good enough to get near playing himself. We both bemoaned 6'10, 6'11 pro players who seemed to dog it or not care. What either of us would've given to be a foot taller, even if we kept our own skills. We both woulda been Jack Haley's.... and that woulda been a GREAT fucking thing.....
