Minor League Games - 2024

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There are no such issues. His EV is amongst the best in the organization if it isn't the best. He can crush a fastball as well as an offspeed pitch. Considering his age and level he's looking real good and he's the type of hitter the Guardians could use which is why he was added to the 40 man. Question is how to fit him in and who goes? For me I'd replace Laureano with him and see what happens.
Not much long-term future. RF will be covered by Charlie Condon. Probably by 2025.

This does spark questions about the OF in the next 2 seasons for sure. Rodriguez is a hitter and has been for a few years now so if his performance translates, DeLauter continues on his path, Florial finds his footing, Valera gets healthy and Brennan starts to perform as expected it could get interesting. That's before mentioning the idea of Martinez and Brito getting OF reps.

throw in an attrition rate of about 50 %, minimum, and there should be just enough to cover the club's needs for the foreseeable future.. no?

Maybe....

I will kiddo.

You keep hoping he's going to stop being a whiff machine in a few years to get a chance
Son he doesn't need to lower his SO rate. When you get big and realize that then you can play with the adults.

Ah yes, the nobody on rcf that's accomplished absolutely nothing in his life related to baseball totally knows he doesn't need to strike out less lol

I'll bet you a lifetime baby he does absolutely nothing in the majors, if he ever gets called up

Says one nobody to another and I'll take that bet. You're right, I've never even played and certainly not with any professionals. Kent St wanted me, but I wouldn't stoop that low. Are you here to bless us all with your baseball knowledge and accomplishments?

"As Vogt said in spring training with other power-minded hitters, the team can live with strikeouts if they're still slugging." Now fuck off.

Question to my Magic 8 Ball:
Will the Guardians starting OF by mid 2025 be Kwan, DeLauter, and Condon?

Answer: Probably.

C'mon Mott, the new local baseball guru suggests that Condon has a long ways to go to catch up to what Bazzana offers. Besides, how can you suggest 482/586/1.110/1.695 with 24 HR in the strongest college conference be the choice over 452/609/1.016/1.625 with 18 HR from the 4th ranked conference by strength?

And yet Vogt didn't waste anytime throwing him back to the minors to tell him getting his shit together, but I won't let facts get in the way.

Remember, just because you think you know baseball doesn't mean you know the best kiddo. You're nobody for a reason.

Now compare their inconfrence Stats and include strike outs, walks etc, position availability, cape cod stats etc instead parroting "HeRp DeRp tAlL MaN BeAtS Up SmAlL ScHoOl PiTcHiNg"

I'll wait. No really. Do as your told. I'll wait.

You do that.

He does have a point... I doubt they will change the OF before June anyways, so let's see his SO and everything then...

Aka we have too small of a sample size to know one way or the other, but if J Rodriquez continues to hit AAA, he will get a look... Whether here or after someone trades for him...
