Minor League Games - 2024

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And yet Vogt didn't waste anytime throwing him back to the minors to tell him getting his shit together, but I won't let facts get in the way.

Remember, just because you think you know baseball doesn't mean you know the best kiddo. You're nobody for a reason.
Oh wow! Arias was sent back to the minors and Rodriguez was on the ML roster! For such an experienced ML player your facts seem a bit off.

I don't know shit which is why I quoted what Vogt said.

We're all nobodies on a public forum for a reason genius. I like your moxy though.

C'mon Mott, the new local baseball guru suggests that Condon has a long ways to go to catch up to what Bazzana offers. Besides, how can you suggest 482/586/1.110/1.695 with 24 HR in the strongest college conference be the choice over 452/609/1.016/1.625 with 18 HR from the 4th ranked conference by strength?
Herer's another question: Where do you play Bazzana in Cleveland if you draft him? He's not going to beat out the Platinum Glove at 2B. He's probably not going to replace the Golde Glove in LF. That leaves RF. I don't know if he has a RF arm.

He does have a point... I doubt they will change the OF before June anyways, so let's see his SO and everything then...

Aka we have too small of a sample size to know one way or the other, but if J Rodriquez continues to hit AAA, he will get a look... Whether here or after someone trades for him...
He has no point and brought nothing to the conversation that everyone doesn't already know and that goes against what Vogt is saying. So no, he doesn't have a point. He has an opinion that carries the same weight as Mott's, yours, mine and everyone else around here. He ain't shit, hasn't done shit and he wants to call me a nobody. LOL! I've never claimed to be anyone other than CDAV45, a poster on RCF.

So who said anything about they were going to make changes before June?

This is what I'm confident in saying because there is statistical data to support it. Rodriguez has been a very productive hitter for at least 2 seasons and going on 3. Is he on the 40 man? Why yes he is! There's a reason for that. He's on the radar Coach and I don't know when he'll get the call or even if he'll get the call. All I know is that he is heating up again and posting the same numbers/production he has for 2 yrs running. I'd guess he's caught their attention wouldn't you?

You play Giminez at his natural position of shortstop, and Bazzana at second or you play him in center.

The biggest question is where do you play Condon? He doesn't have the arm or hip turn to play right field he doesn't have the speed for center, he isn't replacing our gold glove LF, he isn't replacing Ramirez at 3rd. We can't be the team that takes a first basemen 1st overall.

He's a good enough athlete to move to CF Mott and that might be the route they choose, but to say Condon has a long way to go to catch up to Bazzana is just stupid.

Straight from the skipper's mouth. "You know, it's hard to move a Platinum Glove winner off of second base when he plays the position at such an elite level. There have been conversations, but as of right now the plan is for Andres to be at second base."

What's funny about all of this is by the time the draft rolls around neither Condon or Bazzana may be the pick.

CF or LF with Kwan playing the other spot.

Yeah I mean nothing you've said has anything to do with how Vogt has built the team.

Remember, he's in the minors because they determined he wasn't good enough for the majors. He didn't show anything worthwhile, just like our opinions here when statistical data puts you in your place
Because you say so....LOL

Here I thought it might be because they have plenty of OFers they need to see on the 26 man already. If they needed an OFer I wonder who they would call up?

Straight from the skippers eye test

"Jonathan Rodriguez, demoted to triple A affiliate"

Yet again, it looks like the skipper says you're always wrong when it comes to baseball.
He was never on the ML roster. He was sent from ST to Columbus. He has not yet used an option and he's been on Columbus' roster.
So you're telling us they didn't put the best roster in the best position to win games ?

That makes sense to you?
He's trying to figure it out and in the end it might have Rodriguez in the OF so we're just gonna have to see. That's the nature of a young, unproven roster.

He just believes once he gets to the bigs, the hole he believes J Rodriquez is showing in his game will come up. Florial is going to get time and we aren't bringing up a J Rodriquez until he will get fairly close to more everyday opportunities... I don't see that before late May/June since that is when I see the position guys possibly changing IF they aren't producing...

I feel like you take somethings a bit to far (Aka how you come across on here verbiage wise).

Aka I feel like you know baseball, but we here don't know what you exactly know, and your words come off slightly condescending at times. Cdav is also got strong opinions on what he likes and how he will do things and I can tell you two don't look at things the same... (I want everyone to get along).

Also I do think J Rodriquez was sent down more because of AAA time and pure numbers of OFs in camp. No, he wasn't ready, but he is proving he is better than a AAA player, and CDAV wants to see him get MLB at bats to see if he's an OGonz or he can be a legit player in a sense.

He was on the ML team in spring training. Fact.

So you admit he willingly didn't put the best team together at the season opener.
Are you serious? LOL

He doesn't know what exactly is the best team yet.

You don't even have to have a "hole" in minor league ball to get exposed to ML pitching do you? And I made no predictions as to when Rodriguez will be up at any point. I just want him to be given an opportunity.

Rodriguez wasn't sent down because he was never "up". He was an invite to ML camp as were many minor league players. He was never on the 26 man roster and hasn't been off of Columbus' roster.

Thanks Coach, but you don't need to explain my thoughts to this arrogant asshole.
