The Donovan Peoples-Jones Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jackson makes 4.5 million in salary this season. Cap implications alone shut this down and get somebody fired.

Do you want a 34 year old receiver for the rest of the season or do you want to retain a core player long-term?

He's a big loss

Donovan Peoples-Jones among WRs this season:

158.3 passer rating when targeted (min 15 att)

Not quite. It's less than that.

Also nothing would happen with DPJ. He'd still be here.

For Brandin Cooks it's even smaller. His 2022 year is similar to Odell's too.

Imagine being a 34 year old role player (and a good one) and wanting to leave a team that could make a deep play off run.

Big fat no thanks on that culture bomb.
Exactly. Now cooks on the other hand I’d be all for. Guy just produces everywhere he goes and would fit very nicely in this offense

Los is a name chaser but I agree with @DJTJ

D-Jax signed there right? He chose to go to a powerhouse passing attack knowing he's not going to get regular snaps. Now he wants traded from a winning culture? Kevin's scheme doesn't need that cancerous act. There'll be days he won't run routes and won't even get a target this way. No thanks

If every million didn't matter, the team would have just kept Kha'Darel Hodge and we aren't having this discussion.

Can they develop Schwartz by giving him playing time and still beat the Steelers? Then they will try to do exactly that.

Hell, I'd rather take a flier on Andy Isabella

I'd be all over Brandin Cooks, and I'd feel a whole lot better about cutting bait with OBJ after this season if we had Cooks. Wonder what would get it done?
Probably a 3 or 4 at most. Cooks is the best WR that no one talks about in the NFL.
