It appears the finale will have a flashback to Ellie's mother and she will be played by Ashley Johnson, who did the voice and mocap for for Ellie in the games.

Very cool they were able to involve so many of the instrumental actors from the game into the show.

I'm a huge Critical Role fan so very excited to see Ashley Johnson next week. Apparently the run time is only 43 minutes long and its the shortest episode of the show. Not sure how I feel about that, other than sad that there is only a little bit left and then we will have to wait a while to get more.

Another great episode.

Ellie kicked ass. Loved Joel calling her "Baby Girl" at the very end.

The vibe I'm getting while doing my best to avoid spoilers from gamers is that Joel is not in this for the long haul. If this is true, I'm pretty bummed. Not only is he a great actor and has great chemistry on the screen, I love how Pedro and Bella interact off the screen. I'd hate to lose both of those.

Don't tell me if I'm right though.

I mean, this show in general is like The Walking Dead except good.

Tonight's episode was basically Bella Ramsay's Emmy reel.
For real… for everything @The Human Q-Tip and I took issue with in regards to her acting range from the prior episode…. Made up for it in this one. She definitely has ‘rage’ covered off pretty well. Wow.

He called his daughter “baby girl” while she’s dying in his arms in episode 1.

I can't believe next week is going to be so short. I guess it's better to be left wanting more. I've been looking forward to seeing how they pull of this finale on screen ever since they announced the show.

Yeah, Bella Ramsey killed it last episode. They've been very methodical with how they do slight differences from the game to the show. More from a realism standpoint. I liked the subtle clicker sound with the deer. There are definitely scenes I miss from the game that I wish they had in the show just for added intensity. But overall, they've done such a phenomenal job that regardless of how next episode goes, it's easily the best video game adaptation show (season) so far. And if next episode goes well, one of the best shows of all time as well.

Any explanation for why they didn't butcher the horse? Or the deer, for that matter? I mean, when you shoot something, you don't let it lay there. You field dress those things as soon as possible.

I guess that explains why they were starving and had to go for the long pig. They apparently sucked bad at hunting.

Wow. Fantastic episode, but lots to think about afterwards.

My response to Marlene would have been if you're so sure how she'd have chosen, why didn't you give her the choice?

I like how Joel dont fuck around. That one guy that gave himself up… bang. Marlene… bang.

No loose ends. Kinda surprised he lied at the end though.
