The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
BG3 is the best single player game I’ve played in a very long time. Absolutely magnificent. They truly brought the DnD 5e experience to a video game.

I am about to finish South Park: Stick of Truth. It's a fun turn-based game that makes you feel like you're playing through a South Park episode.

There was some mildly infuriating sections of the game that required me to look up walkthroughs. Not sure I want to play the other South Park game right now, kinda burnt out on it due to the amount of repetitive combat in Stick of Truth.

I restarted 4 times after character creation. Finally spent an hour creating my wood elf ranger. Think I’ll stick with this one…

Game is amazing.

Just finished episode two of The Expanse. As a fan of the series, I’m enjoying it so far.

Debating whether I want to get BG3 on PC or wait for the console release.

Planning to start BG3 this weekend. Any of you guys doing the Dark Urge path? I saw a bit about it online and it looks fun. I want to do a melee build based on Logen Ninefingers from Joe Abercrombie's First Law books, as the Dark Urge is very much his archetype.

Having the option and choosing to play Baldurs Gate on console over PC feels like a reason to not be friends.

Maybe that's just my BG2 nostalgia kicking in, but the game is meant to be played on PC

Eh, more of the convenience factor for me than anything. I’ve primarily been a console gamer but I do have a good PC, so I think I’m going with the PC version.

I actually used to be all PC but agree over time I buy most stuff on console now.

Games like DOS2 and BG3 are definitely the exception. I heard it controls great with a controller though.

Dark Urge is pretty fun. This bard lady asked to join my party while we were at camp getting ready to sleep and I said yes, then my character woke up in the middle of the night to find his hands covered in her blood because he had violently disemboweled her and now had to figure out what to do about the body.

I’m not sure if she’s an actual party member in the game or if she just exists in the Dark Urge play through to further the story.

Bg3 is great. Still can't believe I got this in early access in 2020 :chuckle:

The game letting you respec your party members is the absolute best feature in any RPG. It lets me bring whoever I want with me at any given time while still making them useful.

Heard Act 3 is a buggy mess. So Im going to take it very slowly, probably play in bite sized chunks through the end of the year.

Soooooo much other shit coming out to play, too.

Super Mega Baseball 4 has finally clicked for me in the same way 3 did, so I'm playing that daily, and for story driven stuff, I'm doing another run through Pokemon Black.
