Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Karinchak struck out the side tonight for Columbus. Arguably indefensible at this point for him not being on the 40 man roster.

We decided to go with Hoyt over Karinchak to be honest. My guess is they decided experience was more important than pure talent.

By that logic, Max Moroff should be up here over Yu Chang since he has more experience. In my opinion, it’s ridiculous that Otero and Hoyt are up here and Karinchak is not.

Remember Adam Miller?

The difference being that Miller never threw a pitch for the Tribe, while Salazar was an All Star here and his stuff was absolutely electric when he was healthy enough to be on the mound.

Has to be solely based on 40 man and rule 5 issues.

3B and HR for Zimmer today. OPS over 1.000 in AAA.

Don’t think he’s a candidate to be called up until after the AAA season since he needs consistent playing time right now.

We called up Ryan Flaherty to round out the roster, so we kind of did that. Chang is up because of the injury to Ramirez mostly, he wouldn't be up just yet if Ramirez was healthy.

So we're seven starts into Aaron Civale's career, and he's got a 1.94 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and only 1.9 BB/9 and 0.05 HR/9.

I know it's only seven starts and ~41 innings, but this kid has been electric.

We needed him to be at the end of the day especially with the news Kluber is still hurt and Carrasco not Jefry will be stretched back out to start and Plesac hitting his inning limit

There's a stretch where the Rays play the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Yankees all in a row. That could be death for them. Indians will have all the opportunity in the world to clinch that #1 WC spot.

But still, with no Jose, and no Kluber in some sort of action brings my spirits down. The current bullpen crap, Goody, Wittgren, Hand's 90mph fastball and his late season troubles, brings the spirits down. Bieber hasn't won a start in 4 games I think, getting swept by Mets and Rays this late in a race is alarming, Puig has cooled down at a time we need him most.

I still think we can make it (thanks to the AL Central), but we'll most likely be pummelled by the cream of the AL.

What news are you talking about? Recent?

Any concern about who he started against? I know one game was the Twins & one was the Yankees, but havent the rest been shit teams?

vs. DET: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER
vs. TEX: 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER
@ MIN: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER
@ NYY: 6 IP, 8 H, 2 ER
@ NYM: 5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER
@ DET: 7 IP, 6 H, 2 ER
vs. CHW: 5 IP, 7 H, 1 ER

Detroit is dead last in runs scored in the AL, Chicago is 14th, Texas is 7th, Minnesota is 2nd, Yankees are 1st.

Mets are 8th in the NL in runs scored.

So two trash offenses in Detroit and Chicago, two middle of the road offenses in Texas and NYM, and two elite offenses in Minnesota and the Yankees.

Stick a fork in er

I would be surprised to see him come back at all for any team
