What are you talking about? When one "considers the draft picks" he has actually done a great job in this rebuild.
Kyrie=Best Pick Available
TT= Good pick. Only 1 or 2 other guys I'd rather have on this team over him from that draft.
Dion= Great pick. Only other player most would rather have is Drummond. Even though we didn't get Drummond we got the next best thing at #4 in Dion who has shown star potential.
Bennett= Questionable. I still like the pick. He has all the tools to be dominant. He has just been mismanaged.
When you throw in the fact that Grant is a master deal maker when it comes to making trades, why would anyone want to get rid of him? I understand that many people
have to point a finger of blame whenever things don't go right but honestly Chris Grant isn't the one who should be blamed. Mike Brown is, which brings me to my next point.
Only questionable move Chris Grant has made during his tenure has been the Mike Brown hire. If you think he should be fired because of that then present a case for such, but firing him for "not drafting the right players" is nonsensical. He can't 100% hit on every pick. No one can. Shit happens. But the picks he has made have at least proven they can be major parts of a franchise which is all we can ask for.
I don't understand all the hate this guy gets at all...
